Target Audience: All Physicians, Nurses and Pharmacists
This offering is intended for HPH employees and credentialed HPH providers.

Learning Objectives: At the conclusion, participants should be able to:
1. Explain the key requirements that EMTALA imposes on hospitals and their staff with respect to serving on-call for emergencies.
2. Describe in particular the obligations of hospital physicians with respect to serving on-call for emergencies.
3. Engage Inter-professional team members in discussions surrounding EMTALA requirements.
