Utilizing a Computer-Directed Insulin Dosing Software to Implement Best Practices for Inpatient Glycemic Management


COURSE INFORMATION:
This course will educate the healthcare team on current guidelines for inpatient glycemic management and available tools to help implement best practice.


COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1. Implement insulin basal/bolus methodology as the primary method to provide glycemic control in the inpatient setting.
2. Utilize EMR tools to implement basal / bolus methodology and best practices for inpatient glycemic management.
3. Participate in case-based reviews focusing on best use and management of CDIDS.
