Learning Objectives: At the end of the presentation, the participant should be able to:
1. Outline determinants of obesity to summarize treatment targets.
2. Understand the physiological effects of bariatric surgery for inducing weight loss and improving metabolic parameters.
3. Describe the efficacy and safety of endoscopic methods for the treatment of obesity.
