TARGET AUDIENCE:
This conference is intended for nurses and physicians.


OBJECTIVES:
1. Identify current guidelines and recommendations for pediatric critical care support.
2. Describe initial management principles of care for the initial 24 hours of the critically ill or injured pediatric patient.
3. Describe the initial support and care needed by the deteriorating pediatric patient.


CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
