COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the Straub Friday Noon Grand Rounds is to provide an ongoing forum for clinicians to enhance their diagnostic, clinical and treatment skills. The activities are designed to change competence by highlighting trends in health care and research findings, updating clinicians on methods of diagnosis and treatment and improving the effectiveness of patient care.


OBJECTIVES:
1. Identify current diagnostic and treatment options, including the use of lab and imaging techniques.
2. Integrate research findings and experience in practice.


CONTINUING EDUCATION:
In support of improving patient care, Hawai‘i Pacific Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
