Previously named "Building Strength and Courage: Exercise for Breast Cancer Survivors"
Exercise program designed by breast cancer survivors and medical experts to help you lead an active life after breast cancer surgery. Begin with exercises that you can do one day after surgery and progress to a more rigorous stretching and weight training program. This class is a vital part of any rehabilitation program [even years after surgery] to regain full range of motion and upper body strength. Also safe for women with lymphedema. Clearance from doctor is required. Led by Marcie Nowack, exercise physiologist.
