Patient Satisfaction
We put patients first. High patient satisfaction indicates that we are making good on our pledge to deliver the best care. Studies, too, show that satisfied patients are more likely to take an active role in their own health and partner with their doctors and nurses for better outcomes. At Hawai‘i Pacific Health, we’ve set a goal to be at or above the 90th percentile of all hospitals nationwide. We measure patient satisfaction in two categories:
Highly-Rated Hospitals
According to patient surveys taken in 2008 to 2010 by the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers (HCAHPS), our service and quality continues to raise the bar for excellence. Our four hospitals all received increasingly higher marks, and three out of four of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s hospitals actually rate higher than national and state averages.

Recommended for Friends and Family
Patient surveys taken by HCAHPS show that our patients would indeed recommend us to their friends and family. Again, three out of four Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals rate higher than national and state averages.
