All the services you need, right in our community
While young in age, Kapi'olani Medical Center at Pali Momi has delivered many firsts in health care for the Leeward community – First Fully Integrated Minimally Invasive Surgical Suite, First Cardiac Catheterization Unit, First Women's Center. In addition, it is home to the state's First Retina Center. The hospital takes great pride in providing this advanced level of care in the community for the convenience of our Leeward families.
Located next to Pearlridge Center, our 116-bed facility with all private rooms and adjoining medical office building, provides comprehensive care with a personal touch. Click here for a complete list of services.
Kapi'olani is home to one of the fastest CT scanners in the state and Leeward Oahu's first permanent MRI – for the most advanced diagnostic tests.
To address one of the community's most prevalent health problems – heart disease – Kapi'olani established the only cardiac catheterization program in West Oahu to help diagnose heart problems.
Kapi'olani's fully integrated minimally invasive surgical (MIS) suite makes the latest advances in surgical treatment available to the Leeward community.
Because MIS techniques disturb less muscle tissue and fewer nerves, there is less pain afterwards and patients recover more quickly. There are also cosmetic benefits with the much smaller incisions.
24-Hour Emergency Room
To meet the needs of the growing Leeward community, Kapi'olani tripled the size of its emergency room (ER) and doubled the number of treatment rooms, expanding our capacity from 16,000 to 36,000 patient visits a year.
The Retina Center at Pali Momi is the first center in Hawaii dedicated to the prevention and treatment of retinal diseases, which is the number one cause of blindness in the state. The Retina Center is recognized internationally as a leading clinical and research center for diseases of the retina and vitreous.
At the Kapi'olani Women's Center at Pali Momi we work in partnership with our patients and their physicians to help maintain a woman's health. We offer diagnostic and treatment services for breast and bone health and treatment for migranes in a setting you will find both beautiful and supportive.
Over 400 Affiliated Physicians
Kapi'olani has a medical staff of over 400 physicians, and through an adjoining medical office building is home to over 100 primary care and specialty physicians to care for you and your family in our community.
