Outright Gifts
An outright gift will have an immediate impact on the program you select. You can make a gift today in several ways:
- Make an online gift. After your credit card is authorized, we will send you an e-mail receipt acknowledging the transaction for tax purposes.
- Send a check to: Kapi'olani Health Foundation, 55 Merchant Street, 26th Floor, Honolulu, HI 96813
- Make a gift of stock. For information about transferring stock electronically, or for other information about making a gift of stock, please call 808-535-7100.
- Make a gift of real estate or other items which can be beneficial to both the donor and Kapi'olani Health. Please call 808-535-7100.
Planned Gifts
There are many ways to make a commitment today that will help to sustain Queen Kapi'olani's legacy in the future. Planned gifts include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance policies and life income plans.
Making a bequest is a great way to support Kapi'olani. Your attorney can include the necessary language in your will, as a codicil to your will, or in a revocable living trust.
A life income plan benefits both the donor and Kapi'olani. In return for a gift of cash or property, you receive an income for life while you help Kapi'olani fulfill its mission. Additionally, you may receive significant tax benefits. Charitable remainder trusts and charitable gift annuities are two such life income plans.
Life insurance gifts and being named as beneficiary in retirement plans are other vehicles that can result in significant support for Kapi'olani.
