Kapi'olani opened the state's first comprehensive Breast Center in May 2004 dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. With the opening of this beautiful state-of-the-art center, Kapi'olani fulfills its vision to provide Hawaii's women convenient coordinated healthcare with the support to play an active role in their health.
The Breast Center's dedicated team of physicians and specialists provide patients clinical excellence in a warm and supportive environment. Our breast health nurses serve as caregivers for our patients, guiding women through diagnostic tests and treatments when necessary.
